Peplink MAX BR2 is built for reliable connectivity in remote and mobile deployments where uptime matters. Designed as an affordable rugged mobility router with dual cellular modems, it also supports additional WAN paths so you can keep services online even when a single link drops. On the WAN side, BR2 combines dual cellular, Ethernet WAN, Wi-Fi WAN, and USB WAN options for flexible deployments in industrial sites, vehicles, and unattended locations.
For performance, Peplink MAX BR2 is rated at 300 Mbps router throughput and supports SpeedFusion VPN throughput figures (tested by Peplink) that enable practical bonded or failover connectivity for critical applications. With SpeedFusion (available with PrimeCare), you can use Hot Failover, Smoothing, and Bandwidth Bonding to reduce interruptions, stabilize real-time traffic, or aggregate multiple links into a more resilient connection.
Operationally, BR2 is built to simplify mass deployment. Built-in eSIM and remote SIM workflows are positioned to reduce on-site visits, while Peplink cloud tools (InControl 2 / InTouch) support centralized visibility and ongoing management across distributed fleets.
BR2 also fits common “always-on” edge use cases: ATMs, POS systems, kiosks, vending and fare collection systems, and other remote endpoints that need dependable backhaul. For mobile installations, Peplink highlights features such as rugged enclosure and vehicle-oriented capabilities including ignition sensing, GPS, and GPIO—useful for telemetry and operational control
