Performance is engineered for dependable field networking .The Peplink MAX BR1 IP67router delivers 100Mbps router throughput and supports SpeedFusion VPN throughput up to 40Mbps (no encryption) / 20Mbps (256-bit AES). For cellular, it includes one embedded LTE modem (category options include CAT-4 or CAT-6) and two SIM slots to simplify operations and reduce downtime when switching carriers or plans.
Networking and Wi-Fi flexibility are built in. The BR1 IP67 has one Fast Ethernet LAN port and supports Wi-Fi WAN and Wi-Fi AP modes, with a 2.4GHz 1×1 Wi-Fi 4 radio and up to 16 SSIDs for segmented deployments. It also includes GPS, useful for mobile or asset-linked deployments.
For resiliency, SpeedFusion Hot Failover, SpeedFusion Smoothing, and SpeedFusion Connect are supported (Bandwidth Bonding is not). And deployments are simpler with 802.3af PoE input, allowing a single cable for both power and data—especially useful when mounting the unit outdoors.
