Peplink HD4 MBX

Peplink HD4 MBX is a quad-cellular mobility router designed for deployments that must stay connected across changing coverage, congestion, and geography. By combining four cellular links into a high-speed SD-WAN connection with SpeedFusion, it delivers the bandwidth and reliability needed for mobile command, field operations, and rapid network rollouts.

The platform is built for performance and scale: up to 2.5 Gbps router throughput and up to 600 Mbps SpeedFusion VPN throughput (or 500 Mbps with 256-bit AES). Four cellular modem interfaces (LTE category options vary by SKU) and eight Mini-SIM slots support true multi-operator redundancy. HD4 MBX also supports RemoteSIM and FusionSIM, with Peplink eSIM Data Plans / BYO eSIM available on supported hardware/firmware.

For extended carrier flexibility, the MBX platform supports an optional SIM Injector that can add another 8 cellular providers useful for reducing coverage blind spots and managing multi-SIM strategies.

Local connectivity is flexible: Wi-Fi can be used as both AP and Wi-Fi WAN, supports multiple SSIDs, and is complemented by GPS for location-aware deployments and fleet visibility. On the wired side, you can configure 3 Ethernet WAN + 8 LAN or 2 WAN + 9 LAN (Gigabit Ethernet), making it easy to connect cameras, endpoints, and a local switch. Up to 8x 802.3at PoE+ output is supported (power availability depends on DC input configuration), helping you power downstream devices directly from the router.

Operationally, it includes ignition sensing and dead reckoning for vehicle environments, plus InControl 2 cloud management. For edge compute scenarios, Peplink HD4 MBX supports internal storage for edge computing when ordered in the MBX MediaFast version (application workloads and virtualization options as supported).
