Peplink BR2 Pro is engineered for professional SD-WAN and mobility use cases that need higher performance, more WAN flexibility, and hardened deployment features. Peplink positions it around dual 5G connections, Wi-Fi 6, and PoE input to keep data flowing even in demanding scenarios.
From a connectivity standpoint, Peplink BR2 Pro supports two Ethernet WAN ports (with the ability for WAN 1 to act as LAN if required), four Gigabit LAN ports, dual 5G cellular modems, plus USB WAN and Wi-Fi WAN/AP capability. For out-of-band and M2M/IoT workflows, it also includes a serial interface (RS-232).
In performance terms, Peplink lists 1 Gbps router throughput, with SpeedFusion VPN throughput up to 400 Mbps (no encryption) and 200 Mbps (256-bit AES). SpeedFusion features such as Hot Failover, Smoothing, and Bandwidth Bonding are supported, helping you either bond links for higher aggregate throughput or stabilize latency-sensitive traffic during variable cellular conditions.
For SIM and carrier flexibility, BR2 Pro supports 4 Nano-SIM slots, Peplink eSIM data plans, BYO eSIM, and RemoteSIM/FusionSIM support (per Peplink specs and requirements). This is particularly useful for fleet deployments and remote operations where you need to switch carriers or provision connectivity without sending technicians on-site.
BR2 Pro also includes deployment-oriented features such as Ignition Sensing, plus Peplink’s device management ecosystem (InControl 2 / InTouch). For organizations scaling mobile SD-WAN, this combination supports both performance and operational control—ideal for vehicles, pop-up sites, field teams, and distributed industrial connectivity.
