Peplink Balance 20X is a futureproof Gigabit dual-WAN router for SOHO, small businesses, and branch deployments that need flexible WAN choices and upgrade paths. It provides 1x Gigabit Ethernet WAN, 4x Gigabit Ethernet LAN, an embedded LTE modem, and a USB interface, making it an easy all-in-one foundation for wired + cellular continuity.
A major differentiator is expandability: Peplink Balance 20X includes a FlexModule Mini slot designed to accept multiple WAN technologies, including the options shown in Peplink’s official datasheet (LTE-A modules, 5G module, and VDSL module). This lets you evolve WAN strategy without replacing the router. Peplink also notes Virtual WAN Activation License support (Firmware 8.3.0) for up to three additional virtual WAN inputs, increasing flexibility for modern ISP and overlay scenarios.
