LMR-195-DB (Direct Burial) is the high-performance, low-loss 50 Ohm coax cable specifically engineered for installation in the most demanding outdoor and subterranean environments. It maintains the superior signal characteristics of the standard LMR-195 while adding a critical watertight feature.
This is achieved by incorporating a highly flexible water sealing compound beneath the UV-resistant Polyethylene (PE) jacket. This compound acts as a secondary, fully sealed barrier to protect the cable’s core components (dielectric and inner conductor) from moisture, even if the outer jacket is compromised.
It is an excellent, flexible alternative to semi-rigid corrugated cables and a significant low-loss upgrade from standard RG-58, particularly for outdoor and wet applications.
