Peplink MAX BR1 Mini

Peplink MAX BR1 Mini compact dual-SIM cellular router with Wi-Fi AP/WAN, GPS and SpeedFusion—ideal for IoT, kiosks and remote branches.

Peplink MAX BR1 Mini is a compact mobility router designed for dependable cellular connectivity, flexible WAN options, and easy remote administration. It’s a strong choice for kiosks, small remote sites, pop-up operations, and distributed IoT deployments that need a reliable edge connection without a bulky footprint.

On the performance side, Peplink MAX BR1 Mini is rated at 300 Mbps router throughput, and supports SpeedFusion VPN throughput of 80 Mbps (no encryption) and 60 Mbps (256-bit AES). It includes one embedded cellular modem with cellular modem category options of CAT-4 / CAT-6 / CAT-7 (SKU dependent) and two Nano-SIM slots, enabling carrier flexibility for field deployments.

Wireless and positioning capabilities are built in: the device supports Wi-Fi AP and Wi-Fi WAN, and includes dual-band 2×2 Wi-Fi 5 plus integrated GPS—useful for location-aware assets and mobile deployments. For newer hardware revisions, the platform also supports RemoteSIM and FusionSIM (HW4+) and Peplink eSIM data plans / BYO eSIM (HW3+), giving you additional operational flexibility depending on SKU and firmware.

Network behavior is built for continuity: with PrimeCare (or the applicable feature pack license), the unit can enable Ethernet WAN and Wi-Fi WAN, along with SpeedFusion features like Hot Failover and Smoothing—helpful when you want to maintain service through unstable links.

If you want a compact router that can serve as a reliable cellular edge, offer Wi-Fi locally, and support SpeedFusion-based resilience, Peplink MAX BR1 Mini is a practical, scalable option for modern distributed networks.
