Peplink Balance 1350 EC is an enterprise router built for edge-ready, fail-safe connectivity where downtime is not an option. It combines high-speed multi-WAN with 10G fiber and integrated edge computing, so you can keep critical traffic stable while running local services close to users and devices. Router throughput is rated at 25Gbps, and SpeedFusion VPN throughput is 2Gbps (both with and without 256-bit AES), supporting large-scale deployments recommended for 5000–10000 users.
On the interface side, you can configure up to 8× GE and up to 8× 10G SFP+ as WAN or LAN (configurable in the Web Admin), plus 3× USB 3.0 WAN for additional connectivity options. That flexibility helps when you need 10G fiber uplinks but still want multiple Ethernet handoffs for circuits, downstream gear, or segmented networks. For multi-path resiliency, SpeedFusion features include Hot Failover, WAN Smoothing, and Bandwidth Bonding, and SpeedFusion Connect is supported.
What differentiates the platform is edge computing: Docker and KVM are supported with 512GB internal storage, enabling local processing and storage-backed workflows such as prefetching and off-peak downloads to improve WAN efficiency. Centralized operations are supported via InControl 2, and high-availability design is reinforced with dual redundant hot-swappable power supplies in a 1U rack-mount chassis.
For policy and security, the router supports application and web blocking plus full web content filtering, alongside operational features including Virtual WAN, IPv6, and x.509 certificate support. Peplink Balance 1350 EC supports 1000 SpeedFusion VPN peers by default and can be licensed up to 2000 peers. Physically, it measures 17.2 × 11.8 × 1.73 inches (438 × 300 × 44 mm), weighs 12.0 lb (5.46 kg), uses AC input 100V–240V, and is rated at 65W nominal / 95W max power consumption. If you’re standardizing a 10G-capable enterprise edge with local compute, Peplink Balance 1350 EC is engineered for performance, resiliency, and centralized control.
